System arming/disarming
E’ possibile attivare It is possible to activate the system arming/disarming by the special GT884* and GT 889 remote control handsets, or more simply by the vehicle original remote control handset. Very useful is the opportunity to arm/disarm the system by remote through the mobile phone (SMS) or Personal Computer (WEB).
*GT 884 is a radio-transponder that kept in the pocket sends a coded signal to the satellite system.
If this signal deviates for over than 15-20 meters, the GT SAT SYSTEM arms automatically.
If on the contrary the signal approaches within a distance of 15-20 meters, the system disarms automatically.

When installing the GT SAT SYSTEM it is possible to define 2 different types of engine immobilisation as per the European Standard):
- instantaneous activation when arming the system.
- activation by remote through mobile phone, PC or operating ECU monitoring.
Depending on the type of vehicle, it is carried out a connection which prevents the attempt to start or restart the vehicle.

Horn function (Car Finder).
Through the sending of this command by SMS or WEB, the system will activate a horn or a siren for about 30 seconds; this function is useful in case of theft and subsequent vehicle hiding (garage,shed, cellar, etc.) because the vehicle localization and its availability are supported and facilitated by the acoustic signal.
Very useful also as anti-hijack/panic device to remove further ill-intentioned or to locate the correct position of the vehicle in case of loss, such as in large stadiums or shopping centers parkings.

Parking Protection Function.
This optional function is activated automatically when the vehicle ignition key is off; according to a virtual "circle" (range from 1.000 to 2.000 meters) set in the activation phase allows the sending of an alarm notifiction for "parking protection" which indicates the unauthorized vehicle movement from the delimited area.

This optional function, by the special GT 79PDI "buzzer" installation, activates some acoustic signallings to remeber to respect the speed limits along certain routes, particularly in proximity of fixed positions of SPEED CAMERAS, TUTOR and DETECTORS to the crossing.
The system update, in case of activation of new fixed positions, occurs in real time by the sending of special SMS by GT.

This function is activated to know if the speed limit set has been exceeded, i.e. 130 km/h; in the moment in which the vehicle overpasses the threshold set, the system will send a norification for the "Speed limit exceeded" to the telephone numbers provided ans memorizes the data for a further consultation via WEB.

Discharged battery function.
The system sends ananomaly notification for "Discharged battery" in the case in which the vehicle battery is at a very low level and places the vehicle itself out of question

The accident is stored in the GT server and can be consulted via WEB to reconstruct the accident historical thanks to the data and to the graph (speed, acceleration, etc.) of the previous 20 "and of the following 5" after the accident.
